Shared Telecom Infrastructure
QIL offers 'Plug & Play' infrastructure for the telecom operators. It not only allows Operators to reduce significant Capex investment, but also helps them rollout without any delay.
Network Rollout
We offer a comprehensive network rollout services, which meets the needs to customer in terms of cost, quality and delivery. The offerings include Active as well as Passive Infrastructure Services for Wireless Domain including GSM, CDMA, DAS & WiMax.
Operations & Maintenance
QIL also provides complete operations and maintenance services to its customer as per mutually agreed service level agreements. This includes operations of the telecom infrastructure such as field operations, customer complaints and query management, fuel filling, security services, payment of land rent, electricity charges, and adherence to regulatory requirements. The maintenance services includes, fault rectification, filed maintenance services, preventive & predictive maintenance, replacement of equipment etc.
Shared in-door and out-door Distributed Antenna Systems
QIL offers complete Distributed Antenna System (DAS) for service providers, which enable them to offer seamless coverage to its customers. The solutions include In-Building Distributed Antenna Systems and Outdoor Distributed Antenna Systems, which may be used alone or in combination to meet the coverage requirements.
Our infrastructure services are aligned with the needs of service providersto deploy the most cost-effective coverage solutions. This may include towers, rooftops, Distributed Antenna Systems or any combination of sites.
Tower Operating Center (TOC)
Another step reinforcing our commitment towards customer is the introduction of one of its kind Tower Operating Centre (TOC). TOC shall connect over 38,000 towers spread across India with a 24x7 monitoring system. It is also supported by a field work-force of more than 3,000 resulting in reduced downtime and efficient remote monitoring mechanism.
Energy Management Solutions for Telecom Industry
We have various energy management initiatives which are being tested at Indian conditions: Some of these solutions are:
- CNG generators are being explored in place of DG Sets that can reduce fuel opex to the extent of 14%
- Energy storage platform are being explored from Deeya Energy with pilot project implemented
- Fuel Cell instead of conventional Diesel Generator Set in non-EB sites can potentially reduce fuel opex by 25%
- Installation of wide band Static Voltage Stabilizers has already been deployed at various sites
- Free cooling units are being considered at existing sites which can save AC opex up to 25%
Tenancy Management & Optimization
We have also developed various tools to support operators to optimize the networks based on commercial viability.
Telecom Advisory & Consultancy
QIL has strong team who has significant knowledge and experience in rolling out and managing towers in India. This experience and knowledge will be utilized to provide various advisory & consultancy services, including network planning, Due Diligence etc.
