Quippo's most valuable resource is its people and nothing has greater importance than its employees' health and safety. Additionally, at every location, we strive to maintain a standard excellence in caring for the environment.

Quippo's commitment is to comply with all current occupational health, safety and environmental laws and develop the best feasible operating procedures, technologies and policies. In addition, Quippo expects that each employee will have this same commitment to excellence. Everyone's involvement is necessary for us to best serve our customer, our people and our environment.

Quippo will continue in its efforts to make sure that each employee understands his role in the effort to provide a safe work place. We will continue to provide new employees with the necessary training in safe work practices and provide continuing safety education and training to our experienced personnel.

As the senior officers of Quippo, it is our intent to provide the resources and support necessary to achieve these goals.

Operation's Health, Safety and Environmental Commitment Statement
Quippo's goal is to satisfy its customers' needs and assist them in attaining their objectives as they relate to safe drilling. Quippo will accomplish this by being committed to maintaining an efficient and safe work environment for all personnel.

To achieve these goals, Quippo has adopted HSE policies, procedures and standard industry practices for use in its operations. Quippo personnel are given the responsibility of following these policies, procedures and standard industry practices at all times.

As a result of that responsibility, Quippo personnel have the obligation to "stop work in progress", immediately contact their supervisor for assistance and seek a solution to the concern if either of the following situations should occur:

An employee is asked or ordered to deviate from safe standard industry practices or from Quippo's safe operating practices, procedures, and policies.

The employee believes that such action will pose a threat to the safety of personnel, damage to equipment or harm to the environment.

When appropriate, division operations personnel, corporate management personnel, and HSE personnel should be contacted and share in the responsibility for the resolution of any unsafe situation which cannot be resolved at the operation's site.

Quippo realizes that compromising its standards will not only jeopardize the goals and objectives of the company but those of its customers' as well. Therefore, Quippo commits itself to assisting its employees and customers in fulfilling the responsibilities that we all share with regard to health, safety and the environment.
